We were planning to go shopping today, but decided not to. It was so darn hot outside. No work today, either. But we did go out for dinner, me, bro, sis and boyfriend. We ate at our most favorite restaurant, an eat-all-you-can Japanese. This is the only place where I can pig out on sushi and baked mussels and lotsa shrimps for a penny. And on 99 other dishes and desserts. I couldn feel the fats creeping into my system , but who cares, I can run on the treadmill tomorrow. Oh, by the way, did I say I made 20,000 steps ? LOL Take out one zero. It was only 2,000 steps.

Right, I watered the plants, played GoW, and what else, basically nothing. I took a nap for 3 hours.
I knew it ! ! My being able to go to my favorite websites was just a fluke. When I finally turned off my puter, and turned it on again later, the websites were inaccessible again. Darn it. I’m back to the old dinosaur ‘puter.

Seriously. I swear I’m gonna have fun in the Philippines as if my life depends on it. My aunt says we’re going to Bagiou, hold 2 parties at home, one for me and people my age, and one for relatives. I’m sure other relatives are going to entertain us too. And I want to go again to that place where they sell awesome stuff, like pearls, accessories, etc. Greenhills, yeah, that’s the name. That’s where I’ll buy souvenirs. And Alex wants me to look for the rest of this Filipino manga, vol. 2 & 3. She has the first volume and she wants to know who dun it, ha ha. The title is Murder on Balete drive. I hope I can find the time to go to a bookstore and buy her the books. I want to buy a book written by a Filipino author. I wonder if Filipinos are readers and I doubt if earnings from a published book would put food on the table, or support a family. I’m speaking of Filipino authors, not JK Rowling.

It’s my mother’s birthday on June 11th. Mom’s young at heart ( the classic rock station is her station ), but , well, she’s getting older, and I notice she’s not that strong anymore. Just a few years ago, she could do backbreaking work on the garden the whole day, but nowadays, she ‘s been complaining that her hips and back hurt after just 2 hours of work. I’ve taken over some of the work. Mom’s lucky coz I actually enjoy it. Now , I drink coffee in the garden to enjoy the fruits of my labor. The flowering plants we just planted are thriving beautifully, and the carnations, dahlias, geraniums , African daisies and some of the petunias , and yes, the hummingbirds, have come back. Such magic moments ………beautiful day, the hot coffee, the hummingbirds, and the smell of a flower garden in the morning make my day. I wish I could write a poem about this feeling, but I can’t rhyme to save my soul.
My brain just doesn’t work that way…………… How do I love thee, let me count the ways…. but I can only count one way…. it’s " muaaaah, I love ya " and let me see, " I worship the ground you walk on, I adore the air that you breathe, I love the things that you look at, can you say the same things to me ?

So, this is all for now. It’s 2:21 AM Saturday. I’m off to lalaland, hoping to dream of something nice and pleasant. You.

that reminds me of the sushi bar in Nodame Cantabile, haha~ XD well, is sushi that expensive? I’m interested to try, but to think that it’s all raw.. I’m a bit worried.. ^^"wow, I hope you enjoy the party then! and happy birthday in advance for your mom, in case I forget it later on. ^^"

If u go to a high – end Japanese restaurant, it is expensive. The filling is not always raw. California sushi has only avocado and cucumber in it. I don’t know why they make it so expensive. It’;s so easy to make. Mom knows how to make sushi.Yep, I’m sure I’ll enjoy the parties. My cousin will organize it. She knows who to invite. I don’t know anybody there. ^_^"
