Hi, Renxkyoko Iglesias here.
I hope you can watch another Philippine commercial. This one was an ad for Star Wars: Rogue One , shown on Philippine TV in December , 2016.
Just a 2 – minute viewing , folks, in lieu of my mindless blah- blah =blah.
Even a movie promo is making me an emotional wreck. I need to stop watching Philippine commercials. First, fast food commercials, now a Star Wars ad….. what is wrong with you, Filipino admakers ?

I thought it was pretty cool! 🙂

I know , right. One thing I notice about Philippine ads…… there’s always a twist at the ending…. and they’re like mini stories.

I’ve watched this commercial before on youtube also and I almost cried. It touched me like some other commercials too, which I think is the goal of the makers. But I think, it’s not only Philippine commercials which are heart-touching because I’ve seen lately ones from other countries like Thailand.
Posted by renxkyoko on June 22, 2017 at 1:46 pm
I’d seen some Thai ads. But I feel the Philippine ads are so much better, and have more impact.

I feel so, too.. ☺

Filipino commercials are so entertaining! They’re either so funny, corny or absolute tear-jerkers.

Being a huge Star Wars fan, I did not yet see this commercial. So I am seeing this for the first time now, and I honestly have to say that I liked this one a lot. It was truly touching as well in my opinion. Thanks for sharing this 😊

It was a Philippine advertisement shown only in the Philippines, raistlin0903. But I thought it was worth sharing it here on WordPress.

Aww that was very sweet and as a Star Wars geek (long before you were even born 😉 ) I especially appreciated it 🙂 ❤

I know, right. And the brother is so sweet too. He supports , protects and takes care of her young sister wholeheatedly. That’s the other lesson that I get from this commercial.

Shouldn’t he be dressed as Darth Vader if he has breathing problems?
Posted by renxkyoko on June 22, 2017 at 1:21 pm
A ” she ” .
I guess she likes the stormtrooper’s mask more than Darth Vader;s.

commercials are just commercials. Their objective is gaining profits, a lot of it.
Posted by renxkyoko on July 7, 2017 at 3:47 pm
That’s true. The smart ones do know how to make their ads memorable.
