Hi there ! Renxkyoko Iglesias here.
What’s with the title ? Who the heck cares what’s in my purse ? Well, I do, because what’s in my purse is very important to me. a) There’s a set of car keys in there. It would be troublesome if I lost that. ….. I don’t have a spare set. b ) a credit card c) driver license d) 6 packets of condiments from restaurants ( lemon juice , ketchup, sriracha hot chili sauce, mustard and honey sauce fr. KFC ) d ) a $ 4 discount coupon for L’Oreal mascara … guess I have to use that soon, it expires on No. 10……. that’s $ 4, folks, so don’t judge ) e ) pen f) paper napkins from a restaurant ) g) a small digital camera h) $ 10 and some coins ) panty liner … too much information, I know i) a ROSARY.
There’s always a rosary in my purse , and a rosary hanging on my front view mirror. However, I’ve only prayed the rosary 6 times in my life. …… on the plane going to and from the Philippines in 2010 and 2014 and to Europe and back to the US in 2012. But I think I’m going to pray once more, before election day. I’m as afraid to be in the plane as Trump getting elected as President of the United States.
A few irrelevant photos because there should be pictures , right ?
Alright ! This is all for now, folks ! Thank you for reading !

Enjoyed seeing the leaning tower of Pisa

It was beautiful. I enjoyed seeing it , as well.

I’m both surprised and happy to read someone still carries a rosary. I do also carry one everyday in my pants pocket not because I was raised by Catholic parents and studied in Catholic schools all my life, but because it’s also my choice. Most of the guys I know who carry one come from the same grade school and high school I studied at. I too don’t pray the rosary everyday but somehow, I feel safer knowing I carry one all the time.
Posted by renxkyoko on November 4, 2016 at 12:38 pm
I’ve been carrying one since I was a kid. ( in my school bag ) as per Mom’ order, lol. Since I didn’t go to a Catholic school here in the US ( my siblings did, in the Philippines…. St. Scholastica’s College and Southridge School for Boys ), she had to teach me how to pray the Rosary.
Posted by Raffy Pekson II on November 4, 2016 at 1:04 pm
Aww. I love your mom for that! 😊
Posted by andy1076 on November 3, 2016 at 9:02 pm
KFC after the leaning tower of pisa is perfect heh! 😉
Posted by renxkyoko on November 4, 2016 at 12:41 pm
Believe it or not, I didn’t see a KFC in Europe .
I don’t throw away free stuff, he he…. I’m such a dork.
Posted by andy1076 on November 4, 2016 at 5:44 pm
No KFC!?! What do they have against frying a chicken leg? *crosses arms* :O
Posted by renxkyoko on November 4, 2016 at 6:19 pm
I read that , for some reason, Europeans are not into it…. and barbecued baby back ribs, American stuff like that….. Although I did see McDonald’s …. but the line ! ! ! It spilled outside, and snaked one block out. And we tourists were given only 30 minutes for lunch.
Posted by andy1076 on November 4, 2016 at 6:50 pm
Wow the owner of that location must be living in a mansion! Find the one demand and you make it good eh 😀
Posted by Cassidy Frazee on November 3, 2016 at 9:14 pm
I know this girl named Annie, she’ll probably get her picture taken in front of the Tower of Pisa one day–likely wearing shorts and sandals, too. 🙂
Posted by renxkyoko on November 4, 2016 at 12:43 pm
Ha ! ! You’re looking at her now ! !
Posted by Cassidy Frazee on November 4, 2016 at 1:04 pm
I wonder if my Annie will wear a fedora? We know when it’s summer she’s almost always in sandals. She’ll probably have the sunglasses, too, ’cause she has to. Gotta keep up that image she has.

I have so much stuff in my purse. I try to pare down what I carry, but I always have at least five lipsticks, glosses, etc. I guess it’s a beauty junkie thing. LOL!
Posted by renxkyoko on November 4, 2016 at 12:54 pm
I missed the lip gloss ! ! ( it was in a small pocket ) and I guess I have to buy new Chapstick . My lips tend to dry up in winter. And when I checked out the contents of my purse, the comb wasn’t there. Besides, I have a locker at work. I have quite a few stuff there. Maybe next time , my post will be , what’s in my locker/
Posted by cornfedcontessa on November 4, 2016 at 6:36 pm
Now there you go! I always have something on my lips, be it lipstick, balm, Vaseline, etc. As you get older, your lips get smaller. Mine have not, and I’m pretty sure it’s due to being constantly moisturized. Have a great weekend!
Posted by renxkyoko on November 6, 2016 at 5:43 pm
Wait, what ? Our lips get smaller ? I always put a moisturizer, balm, etc on my lips, and less of lipstick, actually. I’ll keep this new info next time I shop for make-ups.
Posted by cornfedcontessa on November 6, 2016 at 5:55 pm
Here is a review I did on lip balm awhile ago. The photo is my senior photo and now. My lips have stayed the same size for 40 years. I really do believe the 24/7 moisture has helped. https://cornfedcontessa.com/2015/05/02/nyc-applelicious-glossy-lip-balm-review/

love the hat. now that’s stylin as far as I’m concerned.
Posted by renxkyoko on November 4, 2016 at 12:56 pm
I bought the hat in the Philippines. The material is ” buri ” ( from leaves of coconut tree, I think )

I usually wear cargo pants . . . and carry with me more than you do.
I used to have a rosary at home (gift from grandmother – never used it for anything) but many years ago started relying on carrying a gun as a more effective form of protection.
Unfortunately, even if I could carry it on a plane, a gun would be just as useful as a rosary at preventing a fatal malfunction.
Posted by renxkyoko on November 4, 2016 at 12:23 pm
If you look at the middle photo, there’s a huge duffel bag on the table. ( black and gold color, with nice design )
I have plane phobia. Aaaargh. I was on terrified mode for 13 hours.

A great plan — the rosary. Please say one for me!
I love the picture of Pisa — that city was one of the happiest surprises of my travels. I thought it would be terribly hokey — after all there are photos in every pizza place. But it is amazing when you’re there — it really feels like the tower was going to fall right on me!
Posted by renxkyoko on November 4, 2016 at 1:01 pm
Wow ! A prayer request ! I will say one for you, for your health and fast recovery .
I think the tower and the other structures in the vicinity were newly painted when we were there. Everything was shiny white ! !
Posted by Elyse on November 4, 2016 at 1:11 pm
Maybe they were just cleaned. It is very white marble!
Posted by Steve on November 4, 2016 at 2:54 am
Hey you look nice…… And about the rosary I wear a large one whenever I’m out of my house…..☺
Posted by renxkyoko on November 6, 2016 at 5:44 pm
Thanks, Steve ! Wait, you wear a rosary ? Or maybe it’s in your pocket ?
Posted by Steve on November 6, 2016 at 6:03 pm

Posted by renxkyoko on November 4, 2016 at 6:07 pm
And I draw the line on the soy sauce, ha ha ha.
Posted by garym6059 on November 4, 2016 at 5:23 pm
Remind me to never reach into your purse, I’d hate to get a busted ketchup packet on my hand! Beautiful photos though :).
Posted by renxkyoko on November 4, 2016 at 5:35 pm
It’s safe. I can’t even open it when I need it….. although I draw the line on the soy sauce.
Posted by Arohii on November 4, 2016 at 7:33 pm
Condiments?? Haha, really? hmm, your purse is surely delicious! Love your honest post! Enjoyed it!
Posted by renxkyoko on November 6, 2016 at 5:53 pm

I love “what’s in my purse” posts, so reading yours was great!
I was thinking of doing one for the longest time, but never did!
Hee hee I love how you had condiments in your purse! If I did? They would be emptied and all over my belongings!😲😂
Posted by renxkyoko on November 5, 2016 at 2:22 pm
The ketchup is from McDonalds , Rebecca. teehee

I have found myself praying a few times over the last few weeks. I have real anxiety over what could happen on Tuesday. Love these photos, btw. So much fun. 🙂
Posted by renxkyoko on November 6, 2016 at 3:44 am
I ;m real anxious too. I cannot imagine Trump as President. I don’t know how his 2 sons will behave as First sons.

hahaha! your purse is actually lighter than mine.. here’s what’s inside my kikay kit (purse): https://panobamagblog.wordpress.com/2013/07/30/kikay-kit/
most ladies are vain, don’t judge.. 😛
Posted by renxkyoko on November 6, 2016 at 5:59 pm
The hairbrush is in the locker at my workplace. I forgot to write down Chapstick and lip moisturizer…. they’re in a separate pocket. Anyway, it’s true… it’s actually a small purse…..oh wait, when I wrote this post, and checking out what’s in my purse, my sunglasses and prescription glasses aren’t there.
Posted by The Otaku Judge on November 6, 2016 at 1:31 pm
Nice pics. I nab condiment sachets whenever I get a chance, although more often than not I never get round to using the freebies I pinch.
Posted by renxkyoko on November 6, 2016 at 6:05 pm
Same here ! But guess what, we ran out of ketchup at home when we needed it for the dish we were cooking……. Okay, we happen to have dozen packets of ketchup in the pantry ( one bagful in a ziplock , haha ). the freebies saved the day. .

I wonder how many forgotten condiments are found in bags each year. It’s something new to travel round a handbag as well as the world.
Posted by renxkyoko on November 8, 2016 at 4:14 pm
My purse was always full of airplane ” food stuff ‘ , like butter, jam, uneaten sandwiches and cakes. Philippine Airlines is very, very generous with food. Filipino passengers expect that )
Posted by Ellen Hawley on November 12, 2016 at 4:39 pm
Did you ever read Tim O’Brien’s story “The Things They Carried”? It uses the stuff a platoon of soldiers in Vietnam carry to tell their story, and the story of the war. It’s an amazing piece of work.
Posted by renxkyoko on November 12, 2016 at 4:56 pm
Okay, I will read that. Is it a book or an article ?
Posted by Ellen Hawley on November 12, 2016 at 4:57 pm
It’s in a book, which I think has the same title. I’m guessing you could find the short story in a variety of anthologies also.
