Ooooops ! !

Hello !

I feel a bit down that some readers didn’t take well my last post on Monaco .  I know why, and  I guess, I agree with them.  I don’t know if I will have to take out the rest of our night out photos  at Monte Carlo. Those are the only pictures I have of the place, all with me in it, cleavage and all.  Sorry. Aaaaargh .  * runs off*

maybe just the street signs….. * walks off , head hanging down*

Later.

Hay, naku, you should see the ladies that came in doon sa Monte carlo Grand casino… super sexy…. compared to me, It looked like I came from the nunnery. ha ha

          • hey, i didn’t notice anything loud, screaming or scandalous there. when i looked again, you even had your hair covering your chests. and it’s a casino, for heaven’s sake… yeah, i could imagine you looking just a bit above the regular lass dragged along to have a peek at the night scene. most musical videos (mtvs) will put your pics (and get-up) to shame. hay, naku… 🙂

  16. Haha – wait a second, Ren, let me make sure I’m understanding this. Are you saying people didn’t like your last post because it had pictures of your cleavage? I’m confused. I really didn’t think the cleavage was particularly revealing, actually. It was tasteful, conservative cleavage. But enough about that. Don’t be down, Ren! Your last post was great, as are all your posts. What’s going on, girl? Are you drunk? : )

    Reply

    • Oppa, one word, yes. o.O looks like i have to make it PG
No, not drunk, wahahah ! Actually, when I wrote this post I was bawling my eyes out. I was watching the Connecticut massacre of 20 kids. have you heard of that? I started crying when Pres. Obama cried on TV. And I kept on crying the whole day.

      • Hi Sis. Yeah, I’ve been following it all weekend. Pretty horrible stuff. Saw the clip of the president getting teared up. Lots of ways to spin it (gun control/culture, media ethics, mental health awareness, etc) but really it’s just a sad, sad tragedy that probably doesn’t have any greater lessons or insights. A horrible person doing a horrible thing to innocent children. : (

Aww, sis, I know what you’re saying. It’s hard not to feel effected. Hope you start feeling a little better soon.

Come on ! Now you are talking as if you are from those Arab countries 🙂
You should not, and you must not, think so. Your posts are elaborate and those like me, who genuinely want to read it word-by-word, would rather wait till they can attend to it appropriately.

And this is your blog, and you should decide what should be up here- and no one else. So, if you want to put pictures, you should 🙂

You know, don’t ever let that bother you. The Internet, and your readers, aren’t the people who decided what you say and do–you are. They didn’t like some pictures? Go look up what Stephen Fry said about, “Oh, you’re offended?” and post that to them as a reply. I’d put them right back up, because the moment you begin letting others decide what is right for you, it’ll never stop.

Ren, this is off topic a bit, but how do you go about budgeting for your trips? I’d love to do something like this trip, but the planning seems so daunting! Where did you start and then how did you set up the goals to know you could cover the costs? I hope this isn’t too intrusive a question, I’ve been thinking about consulting a travel agent, but wondered how those who travel a lot go about it. Thanks!

    Reply

    • Actually, it was my Mom and aunt ( her sister) who planned all this… well, not exactly. They signed up with a tour group, COSMOS. I’m going to write something about this when my travelouge is done. If you’re a first timer, I highly recommend you join a tour group. Go see a travel agent and tell her about your preferences. I don’t recommend going there on your own. If you really want to go on your own, one month is not enough. You will spend your time looking for transportation, where to eat,, where to go, how to get there, etc.

Budgeting… this is the reason why I include $$$$ in my write-ups… but as I said, I’ll have a separate post for this. Although everything is taken cared of by the tour company, there are optional tours that are not included in the travel plan.

Anyway, watch out for my post on that….. it will be from experience.

Great- thank you, I will be watching for your post. I have travelled a bit but I’m terrible at the budgeting part of it. I end up not being able to go anywhere for huge amounts of time after taking a trip, years and years! I just notice others arrange their lives better for trips and as such, get to travel more often. I would love to get some clues how to be more successful at it.

Anyway, I didn’t see the original post but I really liked what you have now. I especially enjoyed the weird baby sculpture. I wouldn’t mind having a plush version to use as a couch.

Tbh, not really mad… but I felt there was censure. I was overly sensitive, I guess, but it was fine taking down the 3 photos. I think I have enough materials/ photos, anyway, but thanks for the positive response.
