I went to work today. Pardon me, not everybody knows I work part time at Baskin and Robbins. It’s an ice cream parlor…. the pay isn’t much, but this is the only job I can find that works around my school schedule. I really have to tolerate my employer’s stinginess. This is the only job I ever had since I graduated from high school 3 years ago, and so far, the only pay increase I ever got was $ 0.25 per hour.
I get tips once in a while, but, it’s usually good enough for one can of soda.
Well, better than nothing. My biggest tip so far was $ 12, given by a nice , old couple.

Seriously, why do people buy ice cream at baskin and Robbins ? The ice cream there is ridiculously expensive. < sorry, Kamal
, she’s my boss > One scoop of ice cream at Baskin’s is $ 2.29 while at supermarkets, half a gallon of Dreyer’s is $ 3.75, Oh hey, I’m just saying this coz I’m poor. If you’re loaded, then go buy there. Our ice cream is simply heavenly, with lotsa nuts too.
By the way, Kamal is Indian, and yeah, she was matched by her parents with her husband. Her husband was here stateside, and went home to India to marry her, and according to kamal, that was the first time she saw her groom in person.

Speaking of which, I’m beginning to warm up to the idea of match making.
Why not ? A couple we know were matched. She came here to the US to marry the guy. They’re happily married now with 2 kids. What’s the guarantee that if a couple marry for love, they’ll be together forever ? Here in the US, more than 50% of marriages end up in divorce. So yes, I’m down with this match making thingy, as long as he is willing to wait until I graduate.
Love is highly over-rated. It just gives you heartaches.
< keannu reeves, save me >

This is all for now. I have to save some of my musings for tomorrow. I mean, what mind – blowing thing can happen in my room now til tomorrow ? Zero. Unless of course I have another one of those weird nightmares of the guy in Hawaiian T- shirt.
Tell you something, I actually had a weird dream , same dream 2 nights in a row. It’s a name that suddenly appeared on something that I was reading and it kinda scared me, well, just a little bit.
That was really odd.

Ahahaha She knows her ice cream’s expensive, but it’s standard price for all B&R outlets. And I said our ice cream’s heavenly, right ? Yeah ! And I’ll give a blow by blow account of my escapades in the Phil. My aunt has computer so I can blog from there. Yup, totally the same, 2 nights in a row…. a name appearing , then on second night, the letters became bigger and moved slowly towards me, so that kind of scared me, just a little bit. @__@ weird

Dreams are the culmination of the subconscious and conscious. We may think and feel they’re just chopsuey, hodgepodge, weird , odd, and bizarre dreams that don’t mean anything at all, but they do, if you care to analyze them.
